Throughout the course of Season 2 of Derry Girls, we’ve learned quite a bit about Clare Devlin.
For example, her mother Geraldine thinks that she’s a delinquent beyond control. We also know that she’s not adverse to using – although in a hilarious case of mistaken identity – some insults like ‘don’t let the jaffa bastard get me’. And, as for her ability to drink a few glasses of wine, well, it’s not there.
Clare is most definitely an integral member of the show and as she dramatically pointed out herself, Clare is not a craic killer!
If you’re looking for living proof of this, the very charming Nicola Coughlan will be attending a Derry Girls-themed ’90s disco at Boombox Belfast.
There will be an opportunity to meet Nicola on the night (sadly, there’s a limited meet and greet available on first-come, first-served basis) and loads of ’90s bangers.
We’re sure it’s going to be cracker.
