Everything from Harry Potter to angry space aliens to Jennifer Aniston as a stripper…

Thursday night, one step closer to the weekend, when most of us have tried and failed to do Dry January and are already looking forward to hitting the town.

But before then, just one more night in, and we’ve got a few movies for you to enjoy this evening:

THURSDAY 10 JANUARY

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire – ITV2 – 5.55pm

The one that also heavily features Robert Pattinson, dragons, merpeople and the full reveal of Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort. Definitely one of the better ones.

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit – Virgin Media One – 9.00pm

Chris Pine takes up the title role (after Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford and Ben Affleck, but before John Krasinski), with Keira Knightley and Kenneth Branagh (who also directs) in a shady political action thriller.

The Wolf of Wall Street – More4 – 9.00pm

Leo DiCaprio as one of the most immoral people to have ever existed. It is also the movie that likely introduced the world to Margot Robbie.

Austin Powers in Goldmember – Comedy Central – 9.00pm

The third in the series brings in Mike Myers as yet another villain, the flaky skinned Goldmember, forcing Austin Powers (Myers) and Dr. Evil (also Myers) to team up to take him down. Beyoncé is the Powers version of a Bond girl.

Tomorrow Never Dies – ITV4 – 9.00pm

From funny fake Bond to a real Bond, here we’ve got Pierce Brosnan fighting FAKE NEWS! Michelle Yeoh kicks ass, Jonathan Pryce does his best with a terrible bad guy role, but the helicopter/bike chase still holds up.

We’re The Millers – ITV2 – 9.00pm

Jason Sudekis, Jennifer Aniston, Will Poulter, and Emma Roberts star in this adult comedy about a group of people forced to pretend to be a happy family in order to smuggle drugs across the US border.

Predator 2 – FilmFour – 11.40pm

Danny Glover can’t exactly fill Arnie’s shoes, but the nasty future-LA vibe really does set the tone for the grim, violent sequel. Arguably the second best Predator movie? Discuss.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
