Why? How? What?

There’s more hate on the internet for The Late Late Show than any other show on telly, well, Ray D’Arcy is getting close, but people are still watching it in their droves.

The country music special on Friday night was Ryan Tubridy’s highest audience of the year so far and the figures are incredible.

The total audience reached over the course of the show was 1.3 million people with 52% of all Irish viewers watching television at that time tuning in to enjoy the show in its entirety.

The fact it was a country special is a factor because Daniel O’Donnell, Big Tom and Nathan Carter are big draws obviously but 52%, FIFTY TWO PERCENT!, of the available audience were watching.

Tubs is laughing all the way to the ratings bank, if that’s even a thing.
