Arrested Development’s David Cross is coming to Dublin for a show at Vicar Street

Tony Cuddihy

David Cross is coming to Dublin.

He won’t be nude, and he won’t be blue, but you won’t want to miss one of the stars of Arrested Development as he brings his ‘Making America Great Again!’ tour to Vicar Street on 14 June.

This will be Cross’s first tour since 2009 when he toured a solo stand-up show in support of his book, the magnificently titled ‘I Drink For A Reason.’

‘Making America Great Again!’ has sold out across the States and received widespread acclaim.

‘Cross’s comedy has become tighter, not only dense with jokes but carefully crafted to sandwich more elaborate arguments with hard punch lines,’ wrote The New York Times.

‘His delivery has shifted from a loping pace to a precision trot interrupted by sudden strategic pauses… His punch lines jabbed and picked apart… His finest comedic arguments emerge from a muffled rage…’

Tickets priced €36.50 are on sale now through www.davidcrosstour2016.comwww.ticketmaster.ie and the usual outlets nationwide.
