The actual location of Take Me Out’s ‘Isle Of Fernando’s’ has been revealed

Apparently it's not a real island.

It turns out that Paddy McGuinness sits on a throne of lies. After years of fooling us into believing that Take Me Out contestants were jetting off to 'the Isle of Ferdando's' after pairing up, it's now been revealed that such a place does not actually exist. The truth is that filming takes place on Tenerife's northern coast in Puerto de la Cruz. It had previously been thought that contestants would stay in the Botanico & The Oriental Spa Garden, but the new series has seen the lads and lasses taken to a private villa instead. Image via Botanico & The Oriental Spa Garden This isn't the only major revelation to have been made about the show recently; earlier this month Roscoe Crawford – a hairdresser from Scotland - explained that there's 24/7 supervision from a chaperone and that contestants have regular room checks following their date to prevent 'bad behaviour'. Roscoe told Glasgow Live: "We were all given a babysitter who went everywhere with us. "For the first two days the boys were together, we all flew out together and the girls were on a separate flight. "They do this so we can't speak to the girls and spoil any reactions or say anything bad because they want to catch everything on camera.”
