Amazon Prime Video new movies January 2022

Movies, movies and more movies…

Yes indeed, it’s that time of the week again.

The glorious time when a big streaming service adds a bunch of new movies, seemingly at random, and don’t make a big deal out of it.

We prefer to do that, so here we are.

Not to be outdone by Netflix adding nine new movies over the weekend, rival platform Amazon Prime Video has uploaded a fistful of entertainment just in time for the new year.

23 new movies in total are on the menu.

So, what do we have available, then?

The coolest bear in town.

Requiem for a Dream

Visceral, challenging and highly influential addiction drama from Darren Aronofsky featuring the likes of Jared Leto, Jennifer Connelly, Marlon Wayans, Ellen Burstyn and incredible music from Clint Mansell and the Kronos Quartet.

Shaun the Sheep: The Movie

Does what it says on the tin, this one.
