Amble announce second album Love and All Its Wares and Irish shows

A new track from the record, Last Rites, has already been released.

The trio of Robbie Cunningham, Oisín McCaffrey and Ross McNerney recorded the album at Grouse Lodge Recording Studios in Co Westmeath in April.

The album, in collaboration with Philip Weinrobe, who has worked with Adrianne Lenker of Big Thief, Tomberlin and Theo Katzman, producing.

It is billed as "a major sonic evolution", moving on from the "simpler, dream-like quality" of debut album Reverie towards a bigger sound.

Next summer the band play Belsonic in Belfast on 23 June, Malahide Castle in Dublin on 24 June and Thomond Park in Limerick on 3 July.

Tickets go on general sale on Friday, 21 August at 9am, with presales running beforehand.

Before any of that there is a busier immediate diary, with a Limerick date and a slot at Electric Picnic in Stradbally, Co Laois, after the band were added to the Electric Picnic line-up.

The 12-track album runs from opener Sing All Day through The Heather Calls, Church Bells and Last Rites to closer Poets Run the Land.

Love and All Its Wares is out on 29 January, with tickets for the three summer shows on sale from 21 August.
