The sold-out festival returns at the end of the month.

Three huge acts have been added to the Electric Picnic line-up, with organisers announcing some major new names ahead of this year's festival.

The iconic Stradbally event has revealed that Amble, Van Morrison and Aaron Rowe will join an already stacked bill of performers when the festival returns later this month.

Irish folk group Amble and Dublin newcomer Aaron Rowe both performed at Electric Picnic last year, while Belfast music legend Van Morrison will make his debut at the festival.

The latest additions join a packed line-up featuring some of the biggest names in music, including Lewis Capaldi, Gorillaz, Fontaines D.C., Role Model, CMAT, Sombr, Zara Larsson and many more.

The announcement comes as excitement continues to build ahead of the festival's return, with thousands of fans set to make their way to Stradbally for a weekend of live music, entertainment and events.

Electric Picnic will take place from August 28 to 30 and is expected to welcome more than 80,000 festival-goers. Attendees can also expect the return of some of the festival's most popular areas, including Provadencia, Croí, Trailer Park, Salty Dog and MindField.

With another huge line-up and some of Ireland's favourite festival spots returning, this year's Electric Picnic is set to be another major highlight of the summer festival calendar.
