Americans are only discovering Peaky Blinders now and it’s blowing their minds

Paul Moore

By order of the Peaky Blinders!

Given the fact that Season 4 of Peaky Blinders has only just arrived in the US, it’s not too surprising to learn that some of our cousins across the Atlantic aren’t too familiar with the Shelby gang.

Obviously, if you haven’t seen the show then there are spoilers below.

As the most recent episode ended, it’s clear that Tommy has his eye fixed on America and a potential deal with Al Capone. Given the fact that Steven Knight’s show is so intrinsically British, we were curious to see what Americans made of the superb drama.

Here’s what we discovered…

Even famous rappers are yet to be introduced to the Shelby family.

Some Yanks think they’ve recognised Cillian Murphy from something else?

Regardless, let’s just admit that the Irish actor is exceptional.

This being said, some people just packed the show in.

The Brummie accent didn’t go down to well with some.

How do they feel about the new season?
