Gogglebox Ireland star Angela De La Mere has died, her family has announced.
Angela passed away last week on Thursday, 16 March surrounded by her loved ones. Kite Entertainment, the company that produces Gogglebox, led the tributes to Angela.
It wrote: “Everyone at Kite and all who’ve worked on Gogglebox Ireland are saddened by the news that original cast member Angela De La Mere has passed away.
“Sending all our love to her family and her Goggle cohort Eileen. RIP Angela.”

A post on RIP.ie says Angela died peacefully “in the loving care of her family and the staff of St. Francis Hospice, Raheny”.
Gogglebox viewers have also paid tribute to Angela.

One said: “RIP Angela, may you rest in peace. We enjoyed watching you and Eileen on Gogglebox… you have a real twinkle in your eye. You are missed by many. Condolences to all who loved and miss Angela.”
Another added: “I’m so sad to hear this! We bumped into Angela and Eileen in a hotel in Wexford a few years ago and they were so happy to chat and have photos taken. They were having a ball. A lovely lady. Sympathy to all her family and friends.”
“Angela lit up the screen with her beaming smile and her mischievous laugh. She was a real lady with the kindest heart and she will be so missed by the many who love her,” another wrote.
