Ara-gor-n, and back this project.

A group of ambitious architects and structural engineers have taken to crowdfunding in an attempt to raise enough money to build a full-sized replica of the Lord of the Ring’s city Minas Tirath.

The team are aiming to raise a monumental £1.85bn.

According to their IndieGoGo site, construction will begin in the North of England in 2016, and be completed by 2023. This is all, of course, dependent on whether or not they reach their financial goal.

If they don’t, we guess they’ll just have to Boromir.
