Young Irish actor named as one of the world’s ’10 Actors to Watch for 2017′

JOE

Barry Keoghan

A great day for the parish.

Keoghan is finally getting the recognition he deserves and has been named on Variety’s 10 Actors to Watch in 2017.

He is best known to Irish audiences for his portrayal of the teenage gangster Wayne in the acclaimed RTÉ series Love/Hate, but since Wayne’s brutal death on the show, we’ve seen much more of the young man and will continue to see lots more of him.

In fact, one particularly famous Dunkirk actor is so sure about Keoghan’s imminent success, that he’s already begun to help him pen his own “Oscar acceptance speech”.

Variety said this about the fantastic actor in their publication:

Barry Keoghan – Now onscreen in “Dunkirk,” Keoghan will be seen terrorizing Colin Farrell and Nicole Kidman this Fall in “The Killing of a Sacred Deer.”

We are absolutely thrilled for Barry Keoghan and we believe it’s only onwards and upwards from here.
