It’s Monday.

Monday = one day.

Yes, a new working week is upon us and we’re now in that horrible place where our ‘one year ago today’ reminders are showing us moments from our first lockdown.

It was a novelty then. How naive we were…

Here are the best movies on TV this evening.

WarGames – Film4 – 6.45pm

A teenage computer wiz nearly causes World War III when he accidentally hacks into a military supercomputer.

Godzilla – Sky One – 9pm

Tough look for our guy Godzilla in this one. Bad movie in an alarming number of ways.

Horrible Bosses 2 – Comedy Central – 9pm

Probably funnier than the original movie and adding Christoph Waltz and Chris Pine to an already fantastic cast is a big win.

Murder on the Orient Express – Film4 – 9pm

Bad moustaches galore.

Detective Hercule Poirot, a famous creation of Agatha Christie, has to solve a murder on a moving train.

The Crying Game – TG4 – 9.55pm

A remarkable, dark drama which explores gender, race and identity.

Crank – ITV4 – 10.30pm

You know the movie Speed with Keanu Reeves. The one where if the bus slows down a bomb will go off?

Well, Jason Statham remakes that movie except he’s been injected with drugs that will cause him to die if his heart rate falls below a certain level.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
