It’s Sunday.

It may be lovely outside but maybe in TV is calling you for some movies.

Here’s the best ones on TV today.

Thunderball – RTÉ2 – 6.05pm

Sean Connery as James Bond. This sits comfortably inside the top ten best Bond movies.

Spectre baddies are also introduced for the first time as we know them.

The Spy Who Loved Me – ITV4 – 6.35pm

It’s a big day for Bond movies and this one is just outside my top ten. But it does have one of the best henchmen of the franchise; Jaws.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them – UTV – 7.30pm

A Harry Potter prequel starring Eddie Redmayne.

Jaws – ITV4 – 9pm

We’re gonna need a bigger boat.

The Boss – Film4 – 9pm

Some laughs but overall meh.

The Danish Girl – Sky Atlantic – 9pm

Best director Oscar-winner Tom Hooper tells the story of transgender pioneer Lili Elbe.

Green Zone – Sky One – 9.15pm

If you’re having Matt Damon withdrawals since his departure from Ireland, he stars in this one.

Die Another Day – UTV- 10.20pm

We love Pierce Brosnan, but this is probably one of the worst Bond movies made. Which is such a shame because he pulled the franchise from the fire in GoldenEye.

George Best: All By Himself – BBC One – 10.30pm

An exceptional documentary about an exceptional footballer. It’s warts and all telling won’t leave you in a jovial mood at its conclusion but will certainly attract audiences outside the football world.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Conor Sketches | Tiger Woods loves Ger Loughnane and cosplaying as Charles LeClerc
