Staying in?

It’s Monday. The first day of the week and a chance for you to get some more movies into you.

Here’s the pick of what’s on this evening.

Ocean’s Thirteen – Sky One – 9pm

A heist movie. The third in the series and a lot better than the second one.

We could list out all of the stars but we want to get this article finished today so we won’t.

Heartbreak Ridge – ITV4 – 9pm

Clint Eastwood, in a break from the norm, plays an old-school, hard-nosed, hard-living… boxing coach, western outlaw, cop Marine gunnery sergeant.

See what we did there? But yes, it’s a good movie and worth checking out.

The Purge: Election Year – Film4 – 9pm

One night a year, all crime is legal.

It’s like the rest of The Purge movies except with a simplistic political message.

The Ring – TG4 – 9.30pm

A horror where everyone who watches a particular video tape (see below) dies within one week.

A Good Day To Die Hard – Film4 – 11.10pm

This spelled the end of Bruce Willis as John McClane.

Rocky V – ITV4 – 11.35pm

It’s a miracle the Rocky franchise survived this disaster.

The lowest point of all the movies.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
