Thornhill (Cary Grant) is pursued by ruthless spy Phillip Vandamm (James Mason) after Thornhill is mistaken for a government agent.

Directed by Alfred Hitchcock and 99% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Dumb and Dumber – Comedy Central – 9pm

Jim Carrey madness. Silly comedy that will probably make you chuckle.

Stargate – Film4 – 9pm

An action epic which would likely appeal to fans of Indiana Jones and the like. James Spader and Kurt Russell star.

US Marshalls – Turner Classic Movies – 9pm

Tommy Lee Jones and his crew of US Marshals resume the roles they first played in The Fugitive.

Waterworld – ITV4 – 10.05pm

A factual documentary which looks ahead at what awaits the world in the next 50 years or so.

Ali G Indahouse – Comedy Central – 11.10pm

On the day we got the trailer for the new Borat movie, it’s seems appropriate to watch one of Sacha Baron Cohen’s first creations.

True Grit – Film4 – 11.20pm

Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon and Josh Brolin anchor a stellar cast in a western that’s up there with the best movies of the 2010s.
