It’s only Tuesday.
We’re embedded in a new week and while the weather is a mixed bag, we at least have some decent movies on TV to look forward to a little later.

Waterworld – ITV4 – 9pm
The world has ended but Kevin Costner is a really good swimmer in a world that’s almost entirely covered by water.
Red – Film4 – 9pm
Frank Moses, a former black-ops agent, learns that his life is under threat from an assassin so he reunites with his old team to nab the man who has vowed to kill him.
Surprisingly decent.
Mission Impossible 2 – Sky One – 10pm
The presence of a Mission Impossible 2 implies the existence of a Mission Impossible 1. So clearly not that impossible.
Tom Cruise does all his own stunts in the second of this action-filled franchise.
Groundhog Day – Gold – 10.20pm
Bill Murray relives the same day over and over again.
The Proposal – Channel 5 – 11.05pm
Sandra Bullock is the boss from hell, and Ryan Reynolds is her personal assistant. To prevent deportation back to Canada, she convinces him to pose as her husband. But they don’t like each other very much.
It’s a rom com so you can see where this is going.
