It’s Tuesday.

The week began so promisingly with the news it was the last Monday in January. Yes, we take the minor victories where we can these days.

While things have deteriorated slightly in the intervening time, we’re not going to let that stop us from bringing you the news of the movies on TV later today.

Transformers – Sky One – 9pm

Michael Bay directs the most Michael Bay movie of all time.

Intelligent alien robots come to earth and cause a lot of explosions.

Blues Brothers – ITV4 – 9pm

The John Landis film stars John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd as “Joliet” Jake and Elwood Blues, the titular Blues Brothers on a “a mission from God” to reunite their old Blues band in order to save the orphanage they grew up in from foreclosure.

American Animals – Film4 – 9pm

Four friends try to steal the rarest and most valuable books from a school’s library in one of the most audacious art heists in US history.

Barry Keoghan stars.

Delivery Man – Comedy Central Extra – 9pm

A mix up at clinic results in Vince Vaughan having hundreds of children.

He attempts to be present in all of their lives.
