Movies on TV

It’s Friday night, off we go.

It’s been a day of much positive news.

Phase Two of reopening the country will begin on Monday and some pubs will be allowed to open at the end of the month under certain conditions.

All that’s left today is look at a few movies although we’re afraid to say pickings are of the slim variety.

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues – E4, 9pm

It’s said they could have made two movies out of all the footage they shot for this. Could never live up to the original but still worth checking out.

Ride Along – ITV2, 9pm

Ice Cube and Kevin Hart star in this buddy cop movie.

18% on Rotten Tomatoes. Yikes.

The Take – E4, 9pm

Idris Elba and Richard Madden. Two men who’ve been linked with the James Bond role star in this film involving the CIA and mistaken identity.

The Prince – RTÉ2, 9.45pm

A retired assassin gets dragged back in for one last job. *shakes fist at sky

Mean Machine – Comedy Central, 10pm

Football is the real winner at the end of the day.

Punisher: War Zone –  E4, 10.45pm

Another attempt to bring this comic to the big screen which mostly misses the mark.

LISTEN: You Must Be Jokin’ with Aideen McQueen – Faith healers, Coolock craic and Gigging as Gaeilge
