Racking up some very positive reviews in the States, fans of sci-fi should absolutely be checking it out.

To celebrate the arrival of Raised By Wolves’ second season, we wanted to go through the ten of the best movies and shows you can watch at home right now with your NOW Entertainment Membership and your NOW Cinema Membership.

DISTRICT 9

The four-time Oscar-nominated action sci-fi movie sees a colony of crashed aliens trying to survive alongside the humans in South Africa, and how that collision of species has forever changed the world as we know it.

EDGE OF TOMORROW

Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt join forces in this overlooked time-travel gem, playing two soldiers who are able to be killed and restart the day anew, using the information from their past lives in the daily battle against an invading alien army.

FORTITUDE

Set in the fictional, isolated town in Norway, a number of unexplained deaths may be linked to something buried in the ice. Stanley Tucci, Michael Gambon, Robert Sheehan and Dennis Quaid star. All 25 episodes from the three seasons of this chilly sci-fi/horror hybrid are available.

MAD MAX: FURY ROAD

Arguably the greatest action movie ever made, and basically just one long car chase. Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron battle their way through the post-apocalypse, being forever hunted by the warring members of a dictator’s tribe.

MANIFEST

Following some weird turbulence mid-flight, the passengers land to discover five years have passed. Their friends, families and lovers have moved on without them, but that is just the beginning of their problems… 42 episodes from three seasons are available to watch right now.

STAR TREK

The 2009 reboot of the much-loved TV and movie series sees Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto and Zoe Saldana take on the iconic roles of Kirk, Spoke and Uhura in this action-packed space-bound adventure.

THE MATRIX

One of the most iconic movies of all time. The slo-mo. The bullet time. The black leather. The sunglasses even at night. Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss and Laurence Fishburne attempt to save humanity from their robot overlords in this all kicking, all punching masterpiece.

THE NEVERS

Following the intervention of mysterious extraterrestrials, a group of people in Victorian London are imbued with supernatural powers, much to the concern of the officials in the city. The first six episodes of the first season are available to watch right now, with the second half of the season set to debut later in 2022.

THE THIRD DAY

A mini-series revolving around an alluring island, and how at different times, different people (played by Jude Law, Katherine Waterston and Naomie Harris) arrive at and then try to survive their time there. All seven episodes of the series are available to watch.

WESTWORLD

A theme park where humans pay thousands of dollars get immersed in a realistic version of the Wild West, complete with robot cowboys. But it all starts to go sideways when the robots begin to become self-aware, and have desires beyond the confines of the theme park. All 28 episodes from the first three seasons are available to watch now, with the fourth season set to debut later in 2022.

And as if all of that wasn’t enough, 2021’s biggest sci-fi blockbuster Dune will be available to watch at home with your NOW Cinema Membership from Friday, 15 April.
