QUESTION: Who is the best cinematic superhero of all time?

Rory Cashin

We’re talking about just how they are in the movies. So no TV shows, comics or video-games are counted here.

There have been a lot of big comic book movies released in cinemas in the last few weeks.

Between Avengers: Infinity War and Deadpool 2, superheroes have been on everyone’s minds lately, so obviously we had to talk about them in the latest episode of The Big Reviewski.

You can hear JOE’s movie buffs chat about the best cinematic superhero movies of all time in the link below from 02:50 to 09:05…

Paul went with with an obscure choice… Korg from Thor: Ragnarok! Paul reckons that Korg stole that entire movie, and defends the fact that he actually a proper superhero. And he whips out the big guns by getting Taika Waititi – the guy who plays Korg, as well as writing and directing Thor: Ragnarok – to prove that he is actually a superhero. He’s got us beat there…

Rory went with Bob Incredible aka Mr. Incredible, the man of the house in Pixar’s animated comedy The Incredibles, who managed to bring a totally different light to the world of superheroes and super-villains, and we’re very excited to get back to the family when the sequel arrives in cinemas this July.

And finally Eoghan broke a long-running habit of attempting to only pick one answer to the question this week, and this time he’s reverted to his usual multiple choices. His first is Bruce Wayne aka Batman, and his second is Logan aka Wolverine, and while both of them have been cursed with bad movie entries, they’ve also both been responsible for some of the best superhero movies of all time.

So with all of that in mind, tell us: who do you think is the greatest cinematic superhero of all time?

Let us know in the comments on Facebook and Twitter, and we’ll be reading out the best answers on the next episode of The Big Reviewski.
