It’s being let die…
The Big Bang Theory will finish at the end of the twelfth season of the show, which airs in the US on September 24.
At it’s conclusion, the total episode count will be 279. Over the show’s lifespan, it received 52 Emmy nominations and managed to win 10 of them.
Stars Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch will all be returning for the final season of the show.
It clearly has a large fan base and topped 14 million views per episode in America live and on same day viewing but has grown somewhat stale with its audience in recent years.
In a joint statement, Warner Bros. Television, CBS and Chuck Lorre Productions said, “We are forever grateful to our fans for their support of The Big Bang Theory during the past twelve seasons.
“We, along with the cast, writers and crew, are extremely appreciative of the show’s success and aim to deliver a final season, and series finale, that will bring The Big Bang Theory to an epic creative close.”
We’re not particularly upset about the news, how are you feeling about it?
