We have yet another theory regarding the upcoming Black Mirror Christmas Special

Black Mirror Season 5

Charlie Brooker’s Twitter page has given us a bit of a clue.

We love Black Mirror here at JOE.

It has changed the way a lot of people look at technology in society, and despite the fact that it very often results in the demise of the world around us, it’s an incredibly interesting insight into a potential life that we really aren’t a million miles away from.

And the fact that we are all absolutely obsessed with Black Mirror kind of proves the point that Black Mirror is trying to make.

And in the spirit of Black Mirror, fans are picking apart tiny details in an attempt to decipher any information about the Christmas Special (that we don’t even know is actually happening yet).

A deleted tweet that was allegedly posted by an official Netflix account said that an episode of Black Mirror called Bandersnatch will be released on 28 December this year.

And one fan has compiled quite a bit of evidence regarding what this episode may be about.

Bandersnatch is a game that was developed in 1984 (get it?), but it was never released as the creators went bankrupt.

The game was sci-fi themed, which has led a number of fans to believe that this will be the interactive episode that was hinted at earlier this year.

Netflix viewers will get to decide how the episode transpires, which is exactly as terrifying and exciting as it sounds.

And if you think that this isn’t enough evidence to think that this episode will be based on that game in particular, Charlie Brooker’s profile picture on Twitter is a keyboard that was designed for the game.

More information can be found in this video made by a fan of the show:

Whatever the hell the episode is about, we know that we are excited for it.
