For the dark day that’s in it, have a look at the great Jameson infographic displaying the nation’s favourite horror films, most feared horror villains and many more spooktacular movie facts.
It’s hard to argue with the definitive list of our favourite fearsome films which, for some bizarre reason, includes loads of movies ending in ‘-ing’ (The Ring, Ring and The Thing). It’s also brilliant to see IMDB’s top rated Irish horror films listed, including JOE favourite, the very funny Grabbers, which is available to watch on Netflix now and is well worth your terrified time.
The best bits though are the brilliant movie info-nuggets revealing little-known details such as the fact that the original title for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was Head Cheese, and that Michael Myers’ mask from Halloween is actually a Captain Kirk (William Shatner) mask spray painted white.
