Amazon's The Boys has been one of the most fun takes on superheroes in recent TV history.
The second season is currently streaming weekly, getting a lot of hype online and millions of viewers, so it is not a surprise that Amazon has ordered a spin-off show set in the world of The Boys.
According to
Deadline, the spin-off will be set "at America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes," run by Vought International, the evil behind-the-scenes power from the show.

The as-yet-untitled show is described as "an irreverent, R-rated series" that will follow "the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities".
That description sounds a lot like the fourth volume of the original comic books, titled We Gotta Go Now. That story focuses on the G-Men, The Boys
' take on the X-Men who so far have not been featured in the show.
In particular, it features Hughie going undercover with G-Wiz, the college-aged trainee G-Men, who get up to some very debauched things for fun.
In June, Jack Quaid, who plays Hughie on the show, replied to a fan on Twitter saying that he would like to see that storyline adapted.

"I always thought Hughie going under-cover as a supe would be a fun thing to bring in from the comics," said Quaid in a tweet. "The way he does with the G-Men. With the ill-fitting suit and everything."
The Boys executive producer Craig Rosenberg will write the pilot of the new show and serve as showrunner, with Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg amongst the producers.
The second season of The Boys launched on 4 September. Amazon has since announced that it was the most-watched global launch of an Amazon Prime Original Series ever, and got double the amount of people watching as season one.
