What a man.

A number of women in Hollywood have made allegations against Harvey Weinstein, accusing the movie producer of sexual harassment and rape.

Accusations made against Weinstein by dozens of women in 2017 formed a huge part of the #MeToo movement, and led to accusations surfacing against many other actors and important figures in the movie business.

One of the women who accused him of the actions was actress Gwyneth Paltrow.

Paltrow claims that Weinstein tried to convince her to give him a massage in a hotel room.

She told her then boyfriend Brad Pitt about the incident, which is when he felt he had to intervene.

Brad Pitt confronted Weinstein at the time, saying: “If you ever make her feel uncomfortable again, I’ll kill you.”

In a recent interview with marieclaire, Paltrow spoke about how grateful she is that Pitt acted the way he did.

“I am so grateful to Brad, because he leveraged his power and fame to protect me, when I was no one, and he scared Harvey.

“And if it hadn’t been for him, I don’t know if I’d have gotten fired, or what. But instead, Harvey was like, OK, let’s put it behind us. I think he wanted to keep Brad on side.”

Weinstein turned himself in to police on 25 May, and is currently out on $1 million bail.
