Brendan O’Carroll is in talks to make a documentary about Donald Trump’s effect on America

Now this isn’t a project we saw coming.

Brendan O’Carroll is some man for one man – not only the creator of and writer for Mrs. Brown’s Boys, the 61-year-old is a generous man on top of everything else.

Coming up to the festive season of last year, the actor donated more than 2,000 Christmas dinners to Irish families all around the country.

The Irishman deserves every success that comes his way, and another project he has lined up is sure to be another resounding success for him.

According to The Irish Mirror,  Brendan has been asked to fly over the States to investigate the true impact of Trump’s regime on the American people.

Brendan even gave the name of the programme should it go ahead in the future: “It would be Brendan O’Carroll Trumps The USA… I’ve been asked to look at the first six months of Donald Trump’s presidency and to go into Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana and to see what kind of effect he’s had.”

Having done My Family At War, a documentary for BBC2 before, the writer and comedian said he’d like to branch out into more documentary-making following the success of Mrs. Browne’s Boys. “I’d like to do more documentaries. I’d love to do this one, if I can find the time.”
