By the beard of Zeus! Ron Burgundy’s Anchorman biography is coming to a bookshelf near you

Great story. Compelling and rich.

Eoghan Doherty

To celebrate the release of Anchorman: The Legend Continues, the great man that is Ron Burgundy has blessed us with the news that he will be releasing his autobiography, ““Let Me Off at the Top! My Classy Life and Other Musings,” in November of this year.

We can only presume it will be added to his collection of many leather-bound books.

Although the films have been written by Adam McKay and Will Ferrell, the “Musings”  have been penned by the man Bryan Dobson wishes he was, Ron Burgundy.

According to the press release from publishers Crown Archetype, Ron’s memoirs will “share personal anecdotes about the women in his life, about his dog, Baxter, and his legendary news team.”

Here’s the press release in full:

“Ron Burgundy is known to all as the lead anchorman of San Diego’s award-winning Action 4 News Team and anchor of the first 24-hour news channel, GNN (Global News Network), but few know the real man behind the news desk. In LET ME OFF AT THE TOP! he will share never-before-told stories of his childhood and the events that led him to choose a career in the news business. He will offer a rare glimpse behind the camera into the real life of a man many consider to be our greatest living news anchor. In his own words, he will share personal anecdotes about the women in his life, about his dog, Baxter, and his legendary news team. Along the way, he’ll also give sage advice on a variety of topics that matter most to him. The long wait is over. Ron Burgundy pulls no punches in this widely anticipated, fully authorized tell-all autobiography.”

Two new images have also been released from the set of the Anchorman sequel today, so check them out below as Ron shows off his great looking coat and his even better-looking co-anchor, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), while the second photo reveals that there just might be some tension in the Channel 4 News studio. Ooooooooh…
