Today is the 21st birthday of Friends, a show that ended in 2004 but only seemed to increase its presence on our TV screens.
A One4All survey has looked into our relationships with our own friends and discovered that the celebrity who Irish men most want to be mates with is The IT Crowd star Chris O’Dowd.

O’Dowd is famous for his role as a young boy’s imaginary friend in Moone Boy, and that seems to have seeped into the public consciousness because apparently he’s an imaginary friend to 31% of Irish men.
As for the women, they chose Amy Huberman as their preferred celebrity gal pal.
The One4All survey also revealed some other interesting details about Irish people and friendship. 31% of Irish people count five or more people to be among their closest group of friends, and 41% have had friendships spanning more than 20 years.
Finally some statistical proof that we’re a friendly aul’ bunch.
