GET YOUR HANDS OFF JOE’S CHILDHOOD MICHAEL BAY.
Seeing as the film already has a US release date set for August 2014, it’s probably about time that we got over the fact that Michael ‘my life needs more explosions’ Bay is slap-bang in the middle of filming his (likely non-subtle) version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
In spite of our disgust at Bay pulling down his pants and plooping all over our precious memories, however, here at JOE we can’t help but sneak a peek at what seems to be a leaked image of the new film’s tie-in toys, revealing what is most likely the characters’ final design.
According to Comic Book Movie, no official images have been released yet of everyone’s favourite giant green, ass-kicking reptiles, but, while the slightly blurred picture below isn’t the most shell-shocking image we’ve ever seen, it does reveal that Raphael is wearing a heck of a lot of red bandages, Donatello has some sort of electronic device on his head, Michelangelo doesn’t appear to be carrying any pizza around and Leonardo has a shell on his back.

Although, we still can’t understand why they didn’t go for JOE’s original costume suggestion. Much better we’re sure you’ll agree…
