The third trailer for José Padilha’s (hopefully not disastrous) remake of RoboCop has exploded onto our screens this morning.
And, yet again, it doesn’t fail to disappoint.
Although Paul Verhoeven’s 1987 classic is a JOE favourite, the two exciting trailers (see the first and second here) we’ve seen so far have convinced us that maybe the remake won’t actually be the worst thing in the world.
This third clip features more audio of the moment that Alex Murphy (The Killing’s Joel Kinnaman) is informed by Dr. Norton (Gary Oldman) that he represents the future of law enforcement… and that he’s going to have to wear a metal nappy for the rest of his life.
The very impressive cast also features badass Samuel L. Jackson, excellent Australian actress Abbie Cornish and, one of cinema’s most underrated actors, Michael Keaton.
Let’s hope the film lives up to all of its early hype when it’s released in February 2014.
