When Cillian Murphy has teamed up with Christopher Nolan in the past, the results have been invariably excellent.
Murphy featured in every one of Nolan’s Batman films, most prominently as the lead antagonist in Batman Begins. He also played Robert Fischer in Nolan’s blockbuster Inception.
One of Nolan’s upcoming ventures is World War II action-film Dunkirk, which will also star Mark Rylance and other Christopher Nolan regular Tom Hardy.

Other interesting casting choices include Michael Caine (yet another Nolan favourite) and Harry Styles of One Direction.
The film is expected to open in theatres on July 21, 2017.
