Hammond and May will be coming along for the ride also.
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May will be going bumper-to-bumper against their former show Top Gear after the trio signed up for an all-new car show, exclusively for Amazon Prime.
It’s believed that Amazon took the chequered flag in the race to sign the trio ahead of ITV and Netflix who were also vying for their signatures.
Fans of the show will be pleased to know that former Top Gear producer Andy Wilman is also attached.
The announcement puts an end to the months of speculation regarding the trio following the BBC’s decision to not renew Clarkson’s contract after his highly publicised altercation with his producer.
Clarkson took to Twitter to express his happiness with the news that he’s back on the air.
I'm very excited to announce that Hammond, May and I have signed a deal with .@AmazonVideo
