And two, it’s time for Hollywood to bring out the big guns and release lots of brilliant films, packed full of powerful performances and devastatingly good drama.
One of those films is brand new Oscar hopeful, Just Mercy, and ahead of its release in Irish cinemas on 17 January, The Big Reviewski and Warner Bros. Pictures have teamed up to offer you and a friend the chance to win a pair of tickets to a very special preview screening and drinks reception.

Based on the incredible true story of a young lawyer and his death row client, Just Mercy boasts a superb cast including Oscar winners Jamie Foxx and Brie Larson, who star alongside Michael B. Jordan as civil rights advocate Bryan Stevenson, an inspiring Harvard graduate who made history in his battle for justice as he defended an innocent man who had been wrongly condemned.
The special preview screening of Just Mercy will take place on Thursday 16 January in Dublin and all you have to do to be in with a chance of winning this prize are two very easy things:
