Virgin Media Television (VMTV) has just unveiled a first look at Complicit, its new Irish thriller drama series.
Created by Caroline Carver (The Bay, Grace), the story's lead character is Jen Molloy. After an unexpected death, she finds herself trapped by a lie that threatens to unravel her life, forcing her to make impossible choices to protect the people she loves.
VMTV has described Complicit as "gripping", stating that it continues the broadcaster's investment in "original Irish scripted drama".
The series is produced by Tall Story Pictures and Metropolitan Pictures for Channel 4, ITV Studios and Virgin Media Television, with support from Screen Ireland and Coimisiún na Meán's Sound & Vision Funding scheme.
These first details about Complicit were released as part of a statement by Virgin Media Television, unveiling its new season schedule.
