Plot’s it all about?
Following on from their hugely successful TV show, it is time for the twins to hit the big screen. Supremely posh Ivor (Andy Quirke) and his long list twin brother, as well as his opposite in pretty much every single way, Damon (also Andy Quirke) discovered that they have a “third twin”.
John Joe (again, Andy Quirke) was split from his brothers at birth and adopted and raised in rural Ireland, so the brothers and their Gran (a scene-stealing Ruth McCabe) set off on a road trip to find him and finally make their family whole again.
Fans of the TV show should be delighted that the duo are getting a big screen outing, and those new to the story will be in for a treat as Quirke knocks out one absolutely filthy gag after another.
This really is Irish comedy at its dirtiest, and all just in time for Paddy’s Day!
