WATCH: “No! No! I want to get the f**k off this, quick!” Daniel and Majella reach new heights on their latest road trip

The famous pair are taking on new challenges as part of their new series on RTÉ.

For those of you wondering what Daniel and Majella O’Donnell were up to (no shame in it), we’re delighted to tell you that they are returning as a double-act in the first episode of a new series of Daniel & Majella’s B&B Road Trip, set to air every Tuesday night.

Remember the clip that went viral a couple of years back of a Daniel superfan who, for lack of a better phrase, lost her mind when she saw the O’Donnells pull into the drive?

Yep, it’s the same show – so you know it’ll be good.

Over each episode, the camera follows the couple as they travel the length and breadth of the country experiencing adventures that they don’t know the details of until they’re ready for off.

Watch as the two of them sit in the passenger seat, as they hand the B&B owners complete control of their itinerary.

The O’Donnells tee off their first adventure with a night in the Tom Watson Suite at the 19th Lodge in Ballybunion, Co. Kerry, with the pair following in the footsteps of golfing legends as they battle the elements on Ballybunion’s Old Course.

Stop two is Rossbeigh Beach House, where host and fitness fanatic Brenda Cahill’s daily workout seriously puts the O’Donnells through their paces, leading to Majella screaming profanities and giving Daniel a wallop each step of the way.

A real rollercoaster.

Throughout the series, the O’Donnells’ allocated hosts set them up for a range of experiences, including hovercraft racing and boom board touring, all to make some really great telly.

And as anyone who’s seen the last series can tell you, it really, really works.

Episode one of the new series of Daniel & Majella’s B&B Road Trip airs on Tuesday 15 May, at 8.30pm on RTÉ One.
