Daniel Radcliffe is going to star in a TV show about Grand Theft Auto

Grand Theft Auto has been around since 1997 and has grown into one of the biggest grossing franchises in the video games history.

The story of the growth of the popular game is going to be told on BBC television with some big name actors already on board.

Daniel Radcliffe will play the co-founder and president of Rockstar Games, Sam Houser, who has been involved in the game since 2001.

Twister and Apollo 13 star Bill Paxton has also signed up for the show, he’ll play lawyer campaigning against the game.

The true-life BBC2 drama will be a one-off 90-minute show and it’s expected to air sometime in late 2015.

It’s a great idea, let’s hope they produce something good.
