Daredevil star is very confident Season 4 will happen

Daredevil Season 4

After Iron Fist and Luke Cage were cancelled, this is very positive news.

Netflix have really spoiled us in recent weeks with the release of Making A Murderer: Part Two, The Haunting of Hill House, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Apostle, Hold the Dark, and so much more, but if you’re looking for a new TV show to binge one, we highly encourage you to start Daredevil.

Hell, what has taken you so long?

Truth be told, ever since that first hallway fight in Season 1, we’ve been massive fans of the TV adaptation of The Man Without Fear as not only is the show brilliantly acted, it’s also tough as hell and well written.

Season 2 of the show was a bit of a let down because there were moments when Daredevil felt like an extended trailer for The Defenders. Aside from this, the introduction of Elektra and The Punisher – although very cool – did take the focus away from Matt Murdock’s arc.

To their immense credit, the showrunners on Season 3 of Daredevil acknowledged the flaws with Season 2 because the most recent episodes – without spoiling anything – really do feel like a throwback to Season 1.

It also helps that Vincent D’Onofrio has returned to play Wilson Fisk and as fans of the show will know, he’s arguably one of – if not THE – greatest villain in the Marvel Universes, both TV and cinematic.

Cold, powerful, and absolutely chilling, D’Onofrio’s performance really brings the show to life and his carefully planned scheme and ‘corruption’ of another iconic villain was a joy to watch.

As for the fights? Well, two words. Prison. Office.

We’ll say no more.

‘The Devil Of Hell’s Kitchen’ may be fighting on, but this week has saw Daredevil’s colleagues in The Defenders suffer a blow because Luke Cage and Iron Fist have both been cancelled.

After being asked if Daredevil was facing a similar fate, Vincent D’Onofrio said that the show’s future is secure and that Charlie Cox (Daredevil/Matt Murdock) is only getting started.

Well, given that brilliant cliffhanger, we can’t wait to see what’s in store.

Let the devil reign.
