Deadly news because the Looney Tunes are coming back with 1,000 minutes of new cartoons

Paul Moore

That’s all folks.

Whenever you were in school, every single person had a routine when the day ended. School’s over, walk home, fling your school bag into the corner, park yourself in front of the TV, turn on the Looney Tunes.

Bliss.

No matter what age you are, there’s always time to watch the wacky adventures of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Porky Pig, Yosemite Sam, Wile E Coyote and the rest of the gang.

All this without mentioning the most beloved film of all time, Space Jam.

Well, that’s not all folks because Warner Bros. will be bringing back the Looney Tunes in 2019.

Looney Tunes Cartoons will be an upcoming series of animated shorts that focuses on the classic Looney Tunes characters.

The new show won’t be a typical season of television because they’re going down a more experimental route by making a series of short episodes that will range from one to six minutes.

Every episode will be written and illustrated by different artists, giving each a unique style. This being said, we’ve been promised 1,000 minutes of new animation so there’s plenty of scope to blow things up with an Acme kit.

Speaking about the new show, Warner Bros. released the following statement which said:  “Looney Tunes Cartoons places these characters into the hands of some of the best artists in the business and into an animated shorts format that will remind many of the time when they first fell in love with Bugs, Daffy, Porky and the rest of the gang.”

Hell, that news is so good that our eyes might jump out of our sockets.
