The talent show will air on RTÉjr.

A brand new show, hosted by former Munster and Ireland rugby player Donncha O’Callaghan, will air weekdays on RTÉ, starting next week.

Donncha’s Two Talented is a brand new family entertainment show, which features the best of Irish 5-9-year-old talent.

But there’s a twist…

Not only will the young kids perform, but they will have to convince an adult to duet with them on the show.

Produced by Adare Productions, the show will air on RTÉjr weekdays from Monday, October 8 and will also air on RTÉ One on Saturdays.

O’Callaghan made 268 appearances for Munster and played 94 times for Ireland in a lengthy career. He was also selected for the British and Irish Lions on two occasions.

We look forward to see him transition into the role of TV presenter. Ryan Tubridy better watch out…

Suzanne Kelly, RTÉ Group Head of Children’s and Young People’s Programming, said: “I am very proud to be associated with the quality and variety of content that our talented independent producers have created for our autumn 2018 schedule.

“There really is something for everyone – top class animation, high-energy and heart-warming entertainment, science, nature, travel and wonderful comedic storytelling. Programmes that entertain, engage and enthral. So snuggle up this autumn with RTÉjr!”
