Also widely available on streaming, the film has been compared to The Commitments.

Our TV movie pick for tonight (Saturday, 8 August) is Dublin Crust, the Irish independent comedy drama from writer-director Baz Black (Kin, the upcoming Bloodrite).

Black also stars in the film as Bonehead, who once played the drums in the Dublin punk band Crust. Now, a decade after the group's split up, its members' lives have fallen apart.

Fresh out of a five-year stint in prison, Bonehead sets out to get the band back together for one last gig.

Dublin Crust is airing on TV tonight on RTÉ One at 11.40pm. It's also available to stream on the services Filmzie, Prime Video and the RTÉ Player.
