Tell your mates that drink and know things.

Jon Snow might know nothing but we’re confident in stating that when it comes to Game of Thrones, you’re as knowledgeable as Maester Aemon when he’s giving some sound advice.

With 14 April drawing closer, the wait to see the final six episodes of the world’s biggest show is almost over but if you’re as impatient as The Hound when he’s starving for some chickens, this quiz is perfect for you.

Fibber Magees on Parnell Street, Dublin are hosting a quiz that’s dedicated to Game of Thrones. If you’re a massive fan of the TV show, you’ll be pleased to know that all the questions will be taken from the HBO epic – so there’s no need to read every book in the A Song of Ice and Fire saga.

To be honest, Fibbers is the perfect location for this quiz because if you walk around the place, you’ll usually see a few beards that even Tormund would be jealous of!

Ok, so what does this night involve?

Well, according to the official page, the quiz will take place on 14 April (that’s the same day that the show returns in the US) and all of the following will take place: Food and drink specials and themed pitchers, Game of Thrones raffle, prizes for the winning team.

If you also fancy throwing on your Night’s Watch cloak and heading along, you’ll be pleased to know that fancy dress is encouraged.

Tables of up to five people are €40 – so, that’s €8 per person – and tickets can be pre-booked here.

If you’re living in Dublin and fancy celebrating The Great War finally arriving, we’ve got the perfect plan for you.

Few drinks, a bit of Game of Thrones craic, then head home and watch the new season.

Sounds like the perfect plan to us.

If you’re looking to brush up on your GoT trivia, we’ve got plenty of Game of Thrones quizzes for you to take like these ones on; castles, the first episode, Daenerys’ journey, Season 7, the nicknames of characters, famous deaths, The Battle of the Bastards, and famous quotes.
