#TRAILERCHEST: Maeve Higgins is a ghost-hunting driving instructor in hilarious Irish comedy Extra Ordinary

Rory Cashin

extra ordinary

This is somewhere in between Ghostbusters and Father Ted.

Welcome to #TrailerChest, where we’re taking a sneak peek at the brand new trailer for Extra Ordinary.

Plot’s it all about?

Yep, you read that headline correctly. Maeve Higgins plays Rose, a driving instructor who has put her supernatural powers behind her after a terrible family tragedy.

However, when Martin (Barry Ward) finds his daughter may have been possessed by a demon, she is forced out of retirement to help, and it probably all has something to do with the reclusive rock star (Will Forte) who just happens to live in town…

Having done the festival circuit in the States – where it received some huge praise – the Galway Film Fleadh is the host to the Irish premiere.

There is no set Irish release date, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see it drop around Halloween time here.

Starring: Maeve Higgins, Barry Ward, Will Forte, Claudia O’Doherty

Directed by: Mike Ahern, Enda Loughman

Irish release date: TBC

Enjoy!
