It’s been ongoing for over a year…
Do you watch Fair City? The chances are, if you do, you’re severely fed up of the storyline surrounding the incarceration of Katy O’Brien by Ciaran Holloway.
The plot has been going since May last year and originally there were a lot of suspects as to who was holding Katy prisoner, but it was eventually revealed to be the evil Ciaran.
Viewers of the RTE soap have been losing patience at the storyline in recent weeks, so much so, that a petition was started to end the storyline by one disgruntled viewer.
In a long post, the viewer said that, “Fair City writers need to end this story as soon as possible!”
It looks like their wish will finally come true in tonight’s episode as the plot is reportedly coming to an end tonight.
Sunday’s episode ended with a bang as Emmett managed to free himself and in the resulting struggle, Ciaran was wounded in the shoulder with a knife by the hand of Katy.
Expect some fireworks as the storyline reaches a conclusion tonight.
But, we’ve been so near a finish before, it would be just like the writers of Fair City to leave us waiting again… those brilliant bastards.
