A reboot of the iconic series Frasier has been teased for quite some time, but nothing concrete has ever been confirmed.
So this most recent development might be the closest we've ever got to actually having some genuine plot ideas for a potential new-look Frasier.
Speaking on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Monday night, Frasier Crane himself Kelsey Grammer has said that he has sat down with writers and pitched them ideas for the series.
And based on what he said, we can expect something slightly different to the show we know and love
He said: "The first principle is that it is a different story, basically. Same group of characters but in a different setting. Something has changed in their lives. Certainly John Mahoney died over a year ago and we would probably deal with that a little bit with dad being gone."
He went on to describe it as "the third act of Frasier", and also discussed possible set locations for it: "It could be (set) in Chicago — he left for Chicago before in the last episode of Frasier, and there seems to be some appetite for it."
