TV theme tune quiz

The one where they’re on the big screen.

Yep, Friends is 25 years old. (Do you remember the first episode?)

Yep, we’re all old.

Debuting in 1994, there haven’t been a lot of shows since that have had the same cultural impact, and that is made all the more evident by the fact that cinemas are celebrating the anniversary by showing some of the best episodes on the big screen.

Spread out over three days, with each screening consisting of four episodes, the best part is that unlike most other shows where you’ll need to Google what each episode was about, the title of each of the Friends episodes was ingeniously titled in the most basic way imaginable.

So, here are the breakdowns of each of the screening days:

Part I – Sunday 8 December:

  • The One Where Monica Gets A Roommate (S1)
  • The One With The Black Out (S1)
  • The One With The Birth (S1)
  • The One Where Ross Finds Out (S2)

Part 2 – Wednesday 11 December:

  • The One With The Prom Video (S2)
  • The One Where No One’s Ready (S3)
  • The One With The Morning After (S3)
  • The One With The Embryos (S4)

Part 3 – Sunday 15 December:

  • The One With Chandler In A Box (S4)
  • The One With Ross’ Wedding” – Part 2 (S4)
  • The One Where Everyone Finds Out (S5)
  • The One Where Ross Got High (S6)

Tickets can be bought right now for Part One here, Part Two here, and Part Three here.

In the meantime, we have a working theory that the Friend you like the least is the one you are most like. Put it to the test by taking the Friends Personality Test right here.
