Ever wondered what you get when you cross fancy art with Star Wars figures? We’ve got an answer

David Eger, a Star Wars fan with a taste for fancy paintin’ or “art” as some people call it, has decided to combine his two passions in a fantastic project that uses action figures from the iconic movies to recreate famous paintings.

From The Creation of Adam reimagined and starring Luke Skywalker alongside Darth Vader to Goya’s The Second of May 1808 and Caravaggio’s The Calling of St Matthew, there are some truly classic pieces of art in here, all given a new twist with characters like Han Solo, R2D2 and Darth Vader.

Thankfully, Jar-Jar Binks doesn’t appear anywhere in these works, as, just like the series of prequels, he would have absolutely ruined them.
