This could be epic.

Game of Thrones has officially wrapped filming but that doesn't mean that the speculation and theories won't be stopping any time soon - after all, we've got a while to wait until Season 8. The latest bit of speculation going through the Westerosi rumour mill comes from none other than Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (aka: The Mountain). The 29-year-old appeared to drop a huge hint about Cleganebowl, the long-awaited and hoped for showdown between the Mountain and his brother, The Hound. According to Metro, he teased a huge scene during an Instagram Q&A earlier this week. When one fan asked him about his favourite Game of Thrones scene over the years, he replied: "It happens in Season 8… so I can’t speak about it." Björnsson has been part of many of the key scenes in King's Landing over the years, including the bloody battle with the Oberyn 'The Red Viper' Martell in season four. After these comments were made, many fans took his latest comment as an all-but-official confirmation that Cleganebowl is real. https://twitter.com/WesterosWatch/status/1018059110519070720 https://twitter.com/_vaughny/status/1017909551159365632 https://twitter.com/ElecDev/status/1017912934754848768 https://twitter.com/Britt_tuh_KNEE/status/1017910561089249280 https://twitter.com/astro_mister/status/1017910954225557505 https://twitter.com/maashirma/status/1017906253341732864 https://twitter.com/10PieceCombo/status/1017968831581577221 This showdown does make sense given the way they ended things last season. In what many fans had been hoping was a bit of foreshadowing, The Hound confronted his undead/zombie brother at the end of season seven. He asked him: "Remember me? Yeah, you do. You're even f**king uglier than I am now. What did they do to you? That's not how it ends for you, brother. You know who's coming for you. You've always known." 2019 needs to get here quicker.
