This is the easiest way to catch up on Game Of Thrones before the new season begins

Rory Cashin

It doesn’t involve buying DVDs or breaking the law, either.

Winter is coming.

Well, technically, winter has come and gone, but for the folks in Game Of Thrones, it has finally arrived.

April 14 will bring the first episode of the eighth and final season of the incredibly popular show, which means that for several weeks after that date, Game Of Thrones will be all ANYONE will be talking about.

There have been 67 episodes over the seven seasons so far, which means that as of today (Sunday 31 March), you’d have to put just shy of five hours a day aside to catch up entirely.

Even one of the show’s writers seems to know that might be in insurmountable task for some, and whittled it down to the 20 must-see episodes before the new season kicks off, which does seem more manageable!

However, how do you go about that? For those who don’t live in the States (with access to HBO), or those who live here but don’t have access to Sky Premiere, then playing catch up can be a bit of an issue.

However, if you head over to Now TV, you can sign up for the Entertainment Pass, which is just €15 a month, after your free 14-day trial period. After that, you’ll be charged once a month from your account, and the service has all seven seasons of the show to date, and will also be getting each and every episode of the eighth season on the same day as HBO in the States and Sky Premiere here.

So there you have it, nice and cheap and easy and no need to buy the Blu-Rays (unless you want to, of course, we reckon those extras must be fantastic) and no need to break the law with illegal streaming!

In the meantime, let us all have another look at that awesome Season 8 trailer!
